A Modern Disciple
As believers, we should know God, find community, make disciples, and change the world. Engaging with these things positions us to grow and for God to use us. A Modern Disciple is sermon series that takes the discipleship practices of the early church and contextualizes them for modern disciples today.

At Long Hollow, we encourage every person at our church to engage with what we call the Discipleship Pathway. Essentially the pathway is just a strategic way for our people to grow in their faith. The steps are: Know God (weekend worship), Find Community (Life Groups), Make Disciples (D-Groups), and Change the World (service & missions). For us, A Modern Disciple was a four week series with each week based off one of the four steps of the Discipleship Pathway.
We used this video bumper to promote the series and played as our pastor walked on stage to preach.
We used these slides at the end of the service and on social media to encourage our people to take their next step.
